Ein junger Trendsport: Racketlon                 

Racketlon ist eine Turniersportart, die aus den vier Disziplinen Tischtennis, Badminton, Squash und Tennis besteht. Bei Racketlon-Turnieren gibt es Bewerbe in verschiedenen Leistungs- und Altersklassen.

Da der Sport leider nicht offiziell anerkannt ist, gibt es kaum finanzielle Unterstützung für Meisterschaften und die WM für einzelne Spieler des österreichischen Jugendnationalteams.

Valentin (14 Jahre jung) ist bei den Weltmeisterschaften 2022 in Wien und Graz Vizeweltmeister einer Klasse geworden.

Er hat aktuell bei den Austria Sport Finals (8.-11.6.23) in Graz  folgende Ränge erreicht:

Silber in U21 Junior Doubles, Silber in U16 Junior Teams, Bronze in Team Bundesliga B. 

Er spielt seit seinem dritten Lebensjahr Tennis und seit gut 6 Jahren
zusätzlich Tischtennis und ist auf Grund seines Talentes seit 2022 festes Mitglied im österreichischen Jungendnationalteam.

Da keine direkten offiziellen Fördergelder für den Jugendnationalspieler zur Verfügung stehen, wollen wir über dieses Projekt Gelder sammeln, damit Valentin seinen Sport weiter leben kann.

Participation in the world championship in the "four racket sport" Racketlon in Rotterdam

A young trend sport: Racketlon

Racketlon is a tournament sport consisting of the four disciplines table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis. At Racketlon tournaments there are competitions in different performance and age categories.

Since the sport is unfortunately not officially recognized, there is hardly any financial support for championships and the world championship for individual players of the Austrian national youth team.

Valentin (14 years young) became vice world champion of a class at the World Championships 2022 in Vienna and Graz.

He has currently achieved the following ranks at the Austria Sport Finals (8.-11.6.23) in Graz:

Silver in U21 Junior Doubles, Silver in U16 Junior Teams, Bronze in Team Bundesliga B.

He has been playing tennis since the age of three and table tennis for 6 years.

Due to his talent, he has been a permanent member of the Austrian Junior National Team since 2022.

Since no direct official funding is available for the youth national player, we want to raise funds through this project so that Valentin can continue to live his sport.
